Merrell Healthy Outdoor Run & Hike - 5k/13k/22k

Please note results below are only provisional as our timekeeper forgot to minus 5 minutes for the 13/22 which started 5 min later. Appologies and revised will be posted Weds night as staff off today... 

GREAT DAY OUT AND CONGRADS TO ALL AS MANY BEGINNERS IN 5K, ROAD RUNNERS ENJOYING 13K TRAIL ROUTE AND RAVE REVIEWS OF 22KM TRAIL SECTION, ESPECIALLY YUEN TSUEN ANCIENT TRAIL SECTION IN THE TREES ON A HOT DAY. SEE RESULTS BELOW WITH FULL RESULTS COMING BEFORE WEDS WITH PICS.

Registration started now (Over 320 entered - still room for 50 more as Mar 17 as ordered 400 shirts) -FREE transport from  Kowloon Tong & Shatin until Mar 17 - so HURRY & PLEASE GET YOUR ENTRY IN) HK$300 late entry fee in effect now (includes shirt).

We have room for 15 more on Kowloon Tong bus and Shatin bus. Admiralty buses are NOW FULL.

6:30am - Admiralty MTR (Cafe de Coral near McDonalds by taxi stand under cover)

6:35am - Kowloon Tong MTR (Somerset Rd - 75m away from KCR entrance)

6:35am - Shatin MTR (Pai Tau St). Please specify in the bio line in the online registration location.

*Note bus shuttle after race to bottom of Tai Tong Shan Rd junction near large restaurants so you can eat immediately and catch mini-bus or taxi to main Yuen Long bus station.

Beautiful trail options for all categories. NO helmets needed. Just your running shoes as this is for trail cross country runners and hikers to promote health and wellness.

5km (exact distance is 5.5km) 2.5km along quiet secluded country park road then 3km trail back to finishup. All runable.

13km (exact distance is 13.6) a flat runners course with slight uphill at beginning then flat along reservoir with small hill at end. One waterstop.

22km a beautiful and wicked trail course following same route as the 13km runners with slight uphill at beginning, then down to the reservoir and continuing around the reservoir. Highlights include running along the Yuen Tun trail for several kms before finishing same route as 5km/13km at the end. Three water stops on this course.

If you like trails this is a beautiful designed course worth coming out for.

Team rule: Must stay together within 50m of eachother at all time on course and finished time will be when all 3 cross finish together. If a tie with 2 teams time of 3rd person on each team will decide.

Public transport to start:
From HK side:
No 968 goes thru Western tunnel direct to Yuen Long. Then catch taxi (approx HK$35 to Tai Tong Shan Rd). Minibuses also along Tai Tong Road but must walk 1 km up hill.

From Kowloon side:

Entry fee:
HK$300 (includes free official bus transport to venue from Admiralty/Kowloon Tong/Shatin - Return shuttle to mini bus stop at bottom Tai Tong Shan Rd by restaurants) and finisher shirt.

6:30am - Admiralty MTR (by McDonalds taxi stand)
6:35am - Kowloon Tong KCR (Somerset Rd)
6:35am - Shatin MTR (Pai Tau St)

Cancellation & Refunds:
Strictly no refunds once payment is made. No transfer of credit is possible.  Race Director has the final say on all matters. HK$100 admin charge for each change to team member or category change.

Race Numbers and Personal Bag Check:
Race numbers and pins to be picked up at registration 1 hour before race start. Luggage check at starting point.

更改, 取消或退款
不設退款，不得更改參賽日期。如需要將收取HK$100行政費用，賽事總監擁有最後決定權。
比賽編號及個人物品安排
比賽編號及扣針會在當日登記時派發，個人物品可寄存在起點(起點/終點均為同一地點)。 至於梅窩比賽, 大會會將所有物品運送至貝澳終點站。

飲品
大會會於水站及終點提供水及補充飲料，於終點亦有啤酒提供。
