The Asia Miles Eco Action Asia Adventure is an activity day for all the family to promote environmental awareness. FREE FACE PAINTING FOR KIDS AT START AND FREE GAMES TO PLAY AT FINISH IF REGISTERED.

For families an easy 4 km Eco Walk from Aberdeen Sports Stadium (opposite Ocean Park) to Repulse Bay combines education and fun and a fancy dress competition for the kids with great prizes to be won.

For thrill seekers there will be a 12 km Eco Adventure race with trail running, rock scrambling across Aberdeen Country Park and kayaking in Deepwater Bay.

Proceeds from the event will go the the HK Dolphin Society, Ocean Park Conservation Fund and the Action Asia Foundation which supports programmes in Hong Kong through disadvantaged youth.

Eco Family Walk

Start time 4k walk: 9:00am

How to Enter: Payment details below under How to Enter for payment options and see above online registration on left side. Make sure you submit registration form online first, then pay by credit card, check, bank TT, etc.

Registration costs: - HK$100 per person or HK$300 per family (max 5).

Race Format: - 4 km walk from Aberdeen Sports Stadium (opposite Ocean Park) to Repulse Bay beach along the Deep Water Bay beach waterfront. Estimated completion walking time 1 hr. Regular comfortable shoes recommended.

Categories: - No category all ages welcome, but all will be given a participant number at start to wear somewhere on their front for photo identification during fun walk. Numbers will also be used to identify best environmental costumes, fancy dress, etc for prizes.

Eco Adventure

Start time Eco Adventure 10k run & 2k kayak: 8:30am

How to Enter: Payment details below under How to Enter for payment options and see above online registration on left side. Make sure you submit registration form online first, then pay by credit card, check, bank TT, etc.

Registration costs: HK$800 per team of two (2).

Charity Donation: 100% of your entry goes to charity with 25% of your entry Ocean Park Conservation Fund, 25% to HK Dolphin Conservation Society and 50% to AAF. We encourage you to make extra donations to help us raise more as fund raising form attached to bottom of this page.

Race Format: - 10 km of trail running, rock scrambling, hiking thru Aberdeen Country Park with a 2 km ocean kayak in Deep Water Bay finishing at Repulse Bay. Teams of two only due to 2 person ocean kayaks. Estimated completion 1.5 hrs to 3.5 hrs depending on level of experience. Mandatory helmet (bike or climbing helmet) must be worn by all participants in Eco Adventure for whole race and provided by participant. Running or trail shoes recommended. Life vests, kayaks & paddles supplied by organizer.

Categories: - Team of 2 only. No individual. Made up of combined ages and listed below in detail. Children under the age of 16 must get special permission from Race Director and must be with an adult during race and must realize this event requires proper training. Experience in coasteering is an asset.
 
Drinks: Being an event to promote the environment and conservation we HIGHLY recommend that you all in both categories bring your own hydration systems or water bottles with your own boiled water or drink. There will be Gatorade Sport Drink at the finish line and at the kayak check point for those in the Eco Adventure, but please try to remember the purpose of this event.

Toilets & Showers: There are toilets at the Aberdeen sports stadium start area, Deep Water Bay beach when going past and on Repulse Bay beach near the finish. Showers are in the LCSD building at Repulse Bay.

Prizes: For best environmentally dressed children and fancy dress we are offering prizes from Ocean Park, Marathon Sports and Giga Sports for the best dressed children to other prizes for the Eco Family category. Trophies for top 3 teams in each category of the Eco Adventure category. Lucky draw prizes for all.

Ideas for dressing up or fancy dress: Why not consider some themes like Animals, Plants, Green Energy, Food, Recycling, Elements of Nature.

Shirts: All participants of the Eco Family Fun category will receive an environmentally friendly shirt and special Eco gift on race morning. All teams of Eco Adventure category will receive quick dry shirts from Champion Systems if registered 2 weeks in advance.

First come first serve, as quota will be checked over time with a capacity of 350 total meaning 200 in Eco Family Fun category and 75 teams of 2 in the Eco Adventure category. 「亞洲萬里通」動感亞洲生態挑戰賽
我們希望透過「亞洲萬里通」動感亞洲生態挑戰賽，藉此提升人們對亞洲區及香港的環保議題和保育計劃之認識，並為相關項目籌措善款。
是次活動分兩個類別, 一為家庭參賽組的「環保步行」, 二為忠實賽迷的「環保歷險」賽。家庭參賽組的「環保步行」步行路線長約四公里，以香港仔體育館為起點(香港海洋公園對面)，經苗鍾徑沿海濱步行到深水灣至終點淺水灣，終點設有遊戲及趣味活動，大會亦會提供小食。

另外，大會亦為愛好刺激和越野賽事的朋友、以及《動感亞洲自我挑戰越野賽》的忠實賽迷設計了「環保歷險」賽。「環保歷險」賽由跑山和獨木舟兩部份組成, 全程約12公里，賽程橫跨香港仔郊野公園和深水灣，而賽事可以不同年齡組別人士以兩個人為單位組隊。各個組別勝出的頭三隊將獲得由「亞洲萬里通」送出的獎盃。
是次活動收益將全數撥捐《Action Asia Foundation》及「香港海洋公園保育基金」。保育基金旨在確保野生動物得以一直繁衍，維持生物多樣性，為亞洲各地的保育計劃提供支援。

比賽形式:  四公里的「環保步行」-- 步行路線於香港仔體育館(香港海洋公園對面)為起點，經苗鍾徑沿海濱步行到深水灣至終點淺水灣。

B賽事分組:B 此活動並無分組，但所有參賽者將獲發一參賽號碼掛於身上當眼處作為參賽記認。參賽號碼亦會用作最佳環保衣著獎等其他獎項所用。
「環保歷險」賽 (10公里跑山 + 2公里獨木舟)

起步時間: 10月5日上午8時30分

報名費: 每組港幣800元(只限兩個人一組)

慈善捐款: 所有報名費會作慈善用途，其中25%撥捐至「香港海洋公園保育基金」，另外25%撥捐至「香港海豚保育學會」，而餘下的50%則撥捐至「Action Asia Foundation」。我們亦鼓勵你提供額外捐款使我們能夠籌得更多善款。

比賽形式:  先穿越香港仔郊野公園進行10公里的越野跑山、攀石，及後進行於深水灣的2公里獨木舟，最後於淺水灣完成整項賽事。限兩個人一組的原因是獨木舟只可供二人同時進行。估計整個比賽約需一小時三十分鐘至三小時三十分鐘，視乎各參賽者的經驗而異。参賽者必須自備並佩帶頭盔(單車或爬山頭盔) 。 建議穿著跑步或越野運動鞋。大會將提供救生衣，獨木舟和獨木舟槳。

賽事分組: 兩個人一組。不設個人賽事。設有不同年齡組別，詳情請參閱下方分組。

飲品:  作為一個宣揚環保和保育之活動，我們極之建議各參賽者自備開水並連同飲水系統或水樽。大會在終點和獨木舟檢查點會提供佳得樂運動飲品給環保歷險參賽者，但請緊記時次活動之目的。

洗手間和淋浴間:  在香港仔體育館的起步點、途經深水灣海灘及至淺水灣近終點附近均設有洗手間。淋浴間則位於淺水灣之康文署大廈內。

獎項: 我們為最佳環保衣著獎將獲海洋公園Marathon Sports and Giga Sports送贈之精美禮品。「環保歷險」賽，各個組別勝出的頭三隊將獲得由「亞洲萬里通」送出的獎盃。另外於比賽結束後會進行幸運大抽獎。

穿著建議:  不彷與家人、朋友穿上環繞動物、植物、食物、環保及自然環境為主題的特別服飾參賽!増添樂趣之餘也有機會獲獎啊!

T-shirt:  所有「環保步行」的參賽者均會獲得大會的環保T-shirt及特別紀念品作為紀念。而所有於比賽前2星期報名的「環保歷險」賽參賽者，均會獲得由Champion Systems提供的quick dry shirt一件。
