HIMALAYAN EXPERIENCE - LAND OF THE GODS AND GODDESSES, TEMPLES, PAGODAS, STUPAS, SACRED PLACES. 2014 will see another stunning Action Asia Ultra marathon 3 day stage event with views of  the Nepal Himalayas and surrounding peaceful valleys to put you in the zone. And to give you one hell of a workout with an easier day 3 to look forward to compared to the brutal 2013 last day.

 

UPDATE ON ITINERARY:

 

Please email payment@actionasiaevents.com your flight itinerary so we can pick you up at airport on Thursday October 30 and take you to Grand Hotel Kathmandu the official hotel in Kathmandu. If a problem take taxi to Grand Hotel as all participants staying at this hotel. Bus departure will be Friday early morning as must go back to airport and depart early to Pokhara for 30 minute flight then drive 5 hours.. Race briefing at 6pm at Hotel Guest House at start line with Race Director. There will be Nepalese food to purchase (Breakfast, lunch & dinner) at village you will be staying and beds/pillows to sleep on even though we recommend you bringing your own sleeping bag. Can change money in Kathmandu to local Nepal currency as many money changers in streets of KTM.

 

 

 

Itinerary:

(note an early registration for HK participants in HK in early October to give you shirts/race numbers)

Thurs Oct 30 - Participants arrive KTM - Hotel included at Grand Hotel  Kathmandu - http://www.grandhotelnepal.com/index.php (check in and do your own thing - registration for those who arrive early race number, shirt, pickup)

 

Fri Oct 31 - 7:30am - Hotel Grand - Breakfast buffet served  Omlettes, Pancakes, Nepal, Cereal, Fruit, etc (included).

Fri Oct 31 - 9am - Depart Ktm airport to Pokhara by flight (included in entry fee)

Fri Oct 31 - 12 noon - Depart Pokhara for approx 5-6 hour drive to other hotel. Lunch locations along way with choices local Nepali food at road side restaurants.

Fri Oct 31 - 6pm Race briefing at Hotel destination (same as start).

Sat Nov 1 - Day 1 race (Accommodation Guest house included) - Race starts around 6am

Sun Nov 2 - Day 2 race (Guest house included) - Race starts around 6am

Mon Nov 3 - Day 3 race, (Race starts around 7am and finishes around 12 noon with last participants around 1pm. Bus departure 2 different times to arrive back in Pokhara by 5-6pm on night of Monday Nov 3..

Mon Nov 3 - Day 3  - Awards ceremony and nice WATERFRONT POKHARA Hotel included with bars, massages, shopping nearby. (Name of hotel is called Waterfront Resort Hotel) http://www.waterfronthotelnepal.com/

Tues Nov 4 - Early flight on Tues morning Pokhara to Kathmandu arriving around 10-11am. (Can leave your luggage at Grand Hotel if you like for all day in storage locker and go shopping and catch flight back to your country this day or take extra optional tour to other location in Nepal if you are extending your stay.

喜馬拉雅體驗 - 土地之神、廟宇、寶塔、佛塔、神怪的地方。2014年度動感亞洲3日超級馬拉松，再次帶領進入另一尼泊爾喜馬拉雅山區，一嘗被壯麗山谷環抱的感受。

請把閣下航班行程電郵至payment@actionasiaevents.com，以便大會在10月30日於機場安排接送到加德滿都大會指定酒店GRAND HOTEL。所有參賽者均入住該酒店。如有需要，參賽者可自費乘坐的士直達酒店。星期五清早乘坐大會巴士，再轉乘約30分鐘飛機前往Pokhara (波卡拉)及乘坐約5小時巴士到達賽事地點。賽事簡報於晚上6時開始。比賽途中入住之村屋旅館可自行選購早、午及晚餐。房間提供枕頭及被單，但亦建議帶備睡袋。可於加德滿都對換當地貨幣，街上很多對換檔子。

10月30日星期四 - 參賽者到達加德滿都 - 參賽者入住GRAND HOTEL(參賽費用已包括住宿) -

10月31日星期五 - 7:30AM - GRAND HOTEL - 自助式(酒店早餐)
                        - 9:00AM - KATHMANDU 飛機前往 POKHARA (參賽費用已包括)
                        - 12:00NOON - 離開 POKHARA 乘坐5-6小時巴士到達當日入住旅店 (參賽費用已包括)。中途停路

                                              旁飯店進食午餐(自費)。
                        - 6:00PM - 於旅店進行賽事簡報 (即賽事起步地點)

11月1日星期六 - 第一天賽事 (參賽費用已包括住宿) - 約6:00AM起步
11月2日星期日 - 第二天賽事 (參賽費用已包括住宿) - 約6:00AM起步
11月3日星期一 - 第三天賽事 (賽事約7:00AM起步至中午12:00時左右完結，預計最後完成時間為1:00PM。回程

                        巴士將分兩個時段開出，返回 POKHARA，抵達時間約當日5:00PM-6:00PM。
                      - 於酒店進行賽事頒獎儀式
11月4日星期二 - POKHARA 早機返回 KATHMANDU ，約10:00-11:00AM 抵達。(如乘坐當日航班離開，可選擇

                        於GRAND HOTEL 寄存行李，空檔時間到市內購物或計劃逗留之參賽者可選擇當地旅遊團)
