Event Name:	LIJIANG Yunnan Action Asia 3 day Ultra Marathon (near Sichuan in 2018)
Date:	April 6 - April 8, 2018 (Friday - Sunday)
Start Time:	6:30 a.m April 6 (arrive Lijiang April 5 and 5 hour drive)
Start Location:	Lijiang, Yunnan, China (course map given out night before each day)
Distance:	60 km & 100 km over 3 days (60 = 23+20+17) & (100 = 37+43+20)

Aim:	To promote some of Asia's most stunning & epic running locations

Lijiang Yunnan Action Asia 3 day Ultra
Located on the North West Yunnan plateau near Sichuan this new mountain region is inhabited by many minority ethnic groups, such as the Mosuo, Yi, Norzu, Pumi and Tibetans.

Itinerary:

Thursday April 5 

• For participants arriving Lijiang between 8am - 1130am on 5 April, if you email us your flight details before 15 Mar, please WAIT at Lijiang airport as we will have a direct bus leaving Lijiang domestic airport around noon which will pick up many of you (over 30 confirmed as of March 26) and go DIRECT to Lugu lake (Race venue). This 1st bus will not go to the city of Lijiang. The 2nd bus we have booked will leave from the official hotel Dian Jun Wang, Minzhu Road in Lijiang Town at 5pm. This 2nd bus will not go to airport unless you email us and confirm you are arriving late in afternoon (3pm-5pm) so please email us your flight itinerary so we can make arrangements to pick you up from airport if you are arriving in the afternoon of Apr 5.
• Please note we only have 2 buses and important nobody changes the bus you are scheduled on unless emergency. If you arrive after the Shenzhen 1130am arrival flight and you need taxi to Lijiang town (Dian Jun Wang Hotel) please email us immediately with your flight details so we can make arrangements to pick you up. Our staff will hold a 'Action Asia' sign at airport arrival hall.
• For participants arriving Lijiang between 3pm - 5pm on 5 April, please wait at the airport Domestic Terminal - Airport pick up provided from Lijiang airport to race venue, 4.5-5hr hour bus ride.   [Email us your flight arrival & departure flight # and time. ]
• For participants arriving earlier than April 5, shuttle bus will departure at 5pm at the offical hotel - Dian Jun Wang Hotel, Minzhu Rd, Ancient Town Area, Lijiang (Tel: 0888-5120666) (unless you want to leave earlier, then please take local taxi back to airport (RMB120 - 140).  [Email us your flight arrival & departure flight # and time. ]
• Race Venue - REGISTRATION SHIRT & RACE NUMBERS and short race briefing with Day 1 maps given out.
• Accommodation included at race venue.

Friday April 6 - Day 1 

• 7am at start location - Get ready to race
• Accommodation included at race venue
• Race briefing in the evening

Saturday April 7 - Day 2

• Race starts around 7 - 7:30am
• Accommodation included at race venue
• Race briefing in the evening

Sunday April 8 - Day 3 

• Race starts around 7 - 7:30am
• Lunch buffet, Awards ceremony at finish village area then bus 4.5 hours back to Lijiang. (many participants will fly out same night or book rooms at hotel thru travel agent if staying longer.
• After awards buses leaving at around 11:30am going to city centre of Lijiang. (bus area of Dian Jun Wang Hotel) (easy to get taxi to airport for RMB120 and can make it too Lijiang airport by 5:30pm-6pm pending traffic goes smooth as this is China). Option also of starting day 3 slightly earlier to get back to Lijiang earlier.
