HIMALAYAN EXPERIENCE - LAND OF THE GODS AND GODDESSES
TEMPLES, PAGODAS, STUPAS, SACRED PLACES. 2013 will see another stunning Action Asia Ultra marathon 3 day stage event with views of Tibet and the Nepal Himalayas to put you in the zone.

 

UPDATE ON ITINERARY:

Please email payment@actionasiaevents.com your flight itinerary so we can pick you up at airport on Weds and take you to Grand Hotel Kathmandu. If a problem take taxi to Grand Hotel as all participants staying at this hotel. Bus departure will be Thursday departing 10am from Kathmandu Grand Hotel. Race briefing at 7pm at Hotel at start line with Race Director. There will be Nepalese food to purchase (Breakfast, lunch & dinner) at village you will be staying and beds/pillows to sleep on. Can change money in Kathmandu to local Nepal currency as many money changers in streets of KTM.

 

Itinerary:
Weds Oct 30 - Participants arrive KTM - Hotel included at Hotel Grand Kathmandu - http://www.grandhotelnepal.com/index.php (check in and do your own thing)

Thurs Oct 31 - 8am - 10am - Hotel Grand lobby - REGISTRATION SHIRT & RACE NUMBERS - then Participants drive KTM to destination - Bus/Guest House Accommodation included - 5-6 hour drive (BUS DEPARTS HOTEL 10am so arrive early to pack bags in bus) (Only bring what you need for 3 days - leave rest in Hotel luggage check in KTM)

Fri Nov 1 - Day 1 race (Accommodation Guest house included) - Race starts around 6am

Sat Nov 2 - Day 2 race (Guest house included - different area) - Race starts around 6am

Sun Nov 3 - Day 3 race, (Race starts around 5:30am) then drive back to KTM, Dinner buffet, Awards ceremony and Hotel included (option to save money if NO Hotel)
