OK we have 20 spots remaining on Sat may 14 and 3 spots remaining on Sunday May 15 so hurry. - Must be triple vaccinated and do PCR test within 48hrs of event.

All participants to receive a FREE R.A.T. testing kit in race pack or at Action X Sheung Wan race week to use before you come race day by SaveWo.

 

May 14, 2022 is confirmed for 50k, 35k, 13k. Full details coming but note 22k will be Sunday May 15..

May 15, 2022  (Sunday)- WILL BE 22km. Will update info on this very soon as we are patiently trying to do our best in solving situation with HK govt.

 **If May 14 / May15 - either day is cancelled due to bad weather or any other issue outside race organizers control, the specific day will be turned into a virtual event with participants having 30 days to complete and submit results to organizer. Hoping this doesn't happen of course after so much effort put into getting permission approved. Race organizer has the right to shorten the race.**

**JAN 10 update- Received letter from government saying permission has been withdrawn -- Quote from letter from Government just received 12:45 noon Monday Jan 10, 2022 - "As you are aware, the local COVID-19 epidemic situation in Hong Kong has evolved drastically over the past few days and Hong Kong now faces substantial risk of a major outbreak. ... Permission granted has now been withdrawn". end

 

VIRTUAL EVENT WILL START this weekend Jan 15-Jan 30, but you need your bib. (Finished)

Vaccine coverage - For the May 14/May 15 approved event the HKSAR government has made it mandatory that all have 3 vaccination shots. If any problem with this kindly email us if a problem.

Pandemic measures for SK50 - Due to the pandemic there will be precautionary measures related to COVID-19 to be taken by the Organiser at this event including all participants must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 (i.e. receiving three doses before event), which is the entry requirement of the race. Participants are required to upload their vaccination records during online enrolment or shortly after to google link provided. 

 

Participants are also required to show the vaccination records on the event day for checking as and when required.

Latest news - please note the HK Government now is requesting all participants take a PCR test within 48 hours of the race and have the PCR test results available on race day for checking when required. We recommend the cheapest way to do this is choose one of the govt locations across HK (HKD 240) at https://www.communitytest.gov.hk/en/ as need to do within 48hrs of event). The Hong Kong government can change the health regulations at any time without any notice.

Bus departure 5:00am at Prince Edward, Shatin and Admiralty departing. Please show your bus ticket that is attached to back of race number that you get at race pack pick up. (please note we have cancelled Yuen Long as not enough)

Insurance -  Organizer provides 3rd party insurance for event only. Participants should purchase their own personal insurance to cover hospital medical coverage and evacuation if needed.

LUGGAGE CHECK - YES can check in luggage before Sai Kung 50 race at start line. Please arrive as early as possible with your number (same as bib number) ALREADY TIED TO YOUR BAG. Recommend waterproof bag as organizer will do best to try to keep dry but no guarantee as rain is sometimes sideways.
