What's included in the entry:

• Bus transportation from Almaty airport (3:00pm Fri Sept 13) to start race venue location Friday Sept 13 (3 hr drive).
• (PLAN IS TO STAY AT SAME YURT CAMP LOCATION FOR 3 DAYS making it easy on you so you can relax).
• Accommodation for Friday Sept 13, Saturday Sept 14, Sunday Sept 15 in Kazak desert camp and Monday Sept 16 in official Almaty Hotel.
• Transportation from finish to the official hotel in Almaty Monday Sept 16.
• Transportation from the official hotel in Almaty to awards dinner Monday Sept 16.
• Dinner Sept 13, Breakfast, lunch, dinner Sept 14, Breakfast, lunch, dinner Sept 15 and breakfast and lunch Sept 16 at Kazak camp.
• Awards dinner Sept 16 in Almaty.
• Breakfast in Almaty Tuesday Sept 17 at the official hotel in Almaty
• Bus transportation from Kazakhstan official hotel to Almaty airport night of Sept 16 (if catching HK midnight flight early morn Sept 17) or Sept 18 if catching flight that day.
• Racing number, pins & souvenir race shirt provided
• Water on the race course (checkpoint every 10km estimate) with fruit and water at finish line each day.
• Medical, Security and staff support with event 3rd party insurance

What's not included:

• Room space for friends and family as they must pay just like participants even if coming just to volunteer or cheer you on.
• Optional extra nights accommodation – If you are coming from Hong Kong, the official travel agency can give you quotations.
• Visa & permits for Kazakhstan (please check in your own country to see if you need).
• Food if stopping on bus at the local shop - Cash in the local currency or USD - small notes please). Note nothing to purchase at camp except coke, beer. So load up on your snacks before arriving.
• Personal insurance- Family, friends, volunteers others who want to come with you - they are treated like a participant in the race and still have to pay the full fee (actually in a way they cost us more as we have to transport them around also)
• Return flight tickets to Almaty, Kazakhstan.

 

NO discount if fly out early:

If you choose to fly back immediately after awards ceremony no discount on the hotel room.

CSR - Raising money for local charity - Local school children books and Green environmental programme for water irrigation and tree planting in Kazakhstan valley

The Action Asia Events is interested in raising money for the purchase of school supplies that are needed in close by town areas and will split funds with a Green environmental programme for water irrigation and tree planting in Kazakhstan valley. Whether it is a donation of US$ 5 or US$ 500, all donations are welcome but not mandatory. A sponsorship pledge form will be sent by email to confirmed participants and put on the site. We're also looking at a way to do more and will discuss this with different organizations for CSR ideas and welcome input. We also encourage ALL to bring English school books for ages 4-15 that we will give out to schools.
