HIMALAYAN EXPERIENCE - LAND OF THE GODS AND GODDESSES, TEMPLES, PAGODAS, STUPAS, SACRED PLACES. 2025 will see another stunning Nepal Action Asia Ultra marathon 3 day stage event with epic views of the Himalayas and surrounding peaceful valleys to put you in the zone. Hikers and runners will be at an elevation of around 2500m with 1 high point going up to 3100m and immediately dropping back to 2000m. Like any hiking in the Himalayas, you should build up a level of fitness to help you sustain full days of hiking or running.

Please email payment@actionasiaevents.com with your preferred person(s) who you would like to share the hotel with if you haven’t. Hotel accommodation will be 2 per room, but a few rooms are 3 for those that request. Official hotel in Kathmandu is Barahi Hotel.   The local hotel in Kathmandu could change as there are some new hotels just finished in the same price range and we will study them and make a decision very soon if we change.

COURSE - It has been the tradition of Action Asia Events over the past 25 years to give out the maps the night before each day in our multiday trail events to keep a real sense of adventure, but don't worry as courses are heavily marked with signs, ribbons and plenty of marshals so you don't get lost. It would ruin the feeling if we gave away too much information as we want to surprise you each day with the beauty of Nepal and what to expect. View the course page in this website to see the elevation profile but like any route in Nepal, you will need to add some hill work in your training if you can or worse case avoid using the elevator at work and start walking up those stairs to be ready for this multiday event and all the experience & memories it will leave you.
